At least we have a 'heads-up.' I'm sick over the challenges of the Olympics. These kids train so hard for so long, and when they get there, it's all political changes. I frankly would love to see another Olympics be established among the free countries of the world. Let the communist countries hold their own.
By the way, why are countries not being openly identified as "communist" nowadays?
Do they (and half of the US) prefer "socialist?" I'm confused.
BuckleBoy said:Why do we have to compartmentalize and segregate, and separate the world? Maybe we should have a Muslim Olympics and a Christian Olympics, and a Buddhist Olympics too? I honestly feel that this is Not what the world needs--not events which separate us out and classify people by government. PEOPLE are the ones who compete in the Olympics--Not goverments. And these people are Born into whatever government presides over their country of birth. They cannot chose where they are born.
