Showed up at the new homestead last night.

Forget it. French fried Fred is forbidden. Fred as fast food is far from a fabulous feast as he flies fast and furious from feeble feeding freeloaders.

Shermanville, I saw one on my ceiling, here in California, maybe a week ago.
It was about 3" long, just as brite green as yours... and I didn't think we have katydids out here.

Somebody called it a 'leaf bug'.

I reached up and grabbed him, and tossed him in the dragon cage.
Dragon thought it was better n' Milk Duds!

He was right on top of that, and lookin' for more! ;D
Only one I've seen.

Best,

In California huh? That was more than likely the endangered Greemamisus Morphadituphulus. There are only a handful left in the world. The state of California had a reward out for them last year. They only had one and were looking for another for mating so the species would not go extinct. If I remember correctly they had offered $50K for a male. You could tell it was a male as it's eyes are lower than the female.
