    Just a thought, the face on the coin has very striking resemblance to that of John G. Cullman.
    Growing up in cullman county, you see his face plenty of times.
    Not sure if there is any coin or token with him on it. Maybe it's a commemorative of some sort.

    It also looks like it could be one of those Shell Presidential coins. I think it sort of looks like Rutherford B. Hayes.

    I would have to agree with that, I have lots of em with presidents like that, However I don't believe its Shell.
