Well, we finally got a a much needed little rain. Definitely could have stood more, but it was enough that I no longer needed a jackhammer to dig. 
I hit a vacant lot next to a 100+ year old church. Not a spectacular day by any stretch of the imagination, but better than my average day. First target dug was a 1936 Buffalo nickel. A few steps away I found a small pocket spill containing a 1937-D Washington quarter and a dateless Buffalo. The rest of the afternoon produced a lone 1957-D wheatie and $1.56 in clad (3 quarters, 6 dimes, 1 nickel. and 16 pennies).
