Was at another old beach this morning for a couple of hours.. ...looking for the old stuff..I love old coins and old jewelry.

I found a very thickly encrusted and tarnished cross which I had to electrolyze for quite a while before the encrustation started flaking off.

This cross is oooooooooooold....can't even find a "sterling " or "925" marking on it...and if there is an image of Christ on it, it is just barely visible...difficult to tell.

Tested the cross with a silver acid test and result was a strong positive.

Also found what I had hoped to be a "V" nickel.....not this time :>(

Here's pics

Thanks for looking

Lorraine

Wow that Cross looks like it has been in the ground for a very very long time.
The coin came out nice for what it looked like at the start .
