Big ring today in a downtown park/field

I dug this ring which was about 5" deep and at first gave a quarter signal but then a dime signal as I got closer to it. I almost crapped my pants when I found it because I only saw the back side and it is heavy. It's not silver but does anyone recognize the mark on the back of it. It looks like a "N" with a hook at the upper right of it

It gave a solid dime signal and thank you.

That does not mean it's not silver. Looks like a custom Zuni inlay ring to me with a maker's mark, so (to me) it is probably silver. Sweet find..
