Be careful.. don't submerge your head in freshwater lakes during the hot summer months. A nasty amoeba could enter through your nose, ears, etc, grow in your brain and kill you. It has happened, scared me from just reading about it. HH!

I agree with Bigwavedave about the amoeba. Especially in the hot Tampa summer months. Summertime I tend to hunt parks and winter months I hit the beaches.

I had not thought of going that deep. Would deeper be better? I can't go under anyway because my headphones won't take it.
