Ok been finding pretty cool stuff, but would like some help with some hunts I have due to large areas, or give me ideas how to do it all and not leave a area unsearched let me know

Large areas as in space, like old fairgrounds or racetracks? If so, using a GPS to track your path/coverage during your trips is a great way to go! I also keep a field book with a rough map showing where I detected & what I found where.

Also trying to narrow down the "hot spot" by using old aerial photos or maps helps too!

I use google earth. You can mark your finds with the tact on the screen. You then can use a note book to write your finds down in that area. It really helps.
