Thought I found gold flakes in the creek on our property...
lots of black sand and quartz..............the gold flakes turned out to be Mica. But using a metal detector did find a musket ball and a trigger off some rifle, probably just from a .22, some shot gun shells. From what I understand Dallas, New Hope has been pretty well cleaned out of CW relics.

dallas still has c/w relics......you just have to find some private property with owners permission of course to dig.I hunted this one guys yard a few years back.......kinda out in the woods found several
c/w relics,,buttons,bullets,saddle sheild,& camp lead...ect.
