    Coca-Colas

Got these from my cousin... How can you tell what year these Coke bottles were made? Are these worth anything? Some have basemarks from CA. & Alaska but most of the 50 plus cokes are blank. Many different skirt markings, but resembles the following: 7403, 69 (symbol) 03 and 01 T2 72. The two Sake are a bonus!

On the embossed cokes you can usually find a small symbol embossed on the side of the bottle that contains the date. Painted cokes are generally considered to be too new to be collectible. Even the embossed cokes aren't worth keeping unless they have something interesting embossed on the bottom (e.g. HONOLULU T.H.)

Of course, this is just my opinion. There are lots of avid coke collectors out there that might keep......anything!

Hey 808kaz, you still working the dump by the old Waipahu Mill?

That spot produced a whole lot o sodes for my brother and I over the years, but getting down to the dump layer is HARD WORK!!!

I've heard that the local chronics have opened at least one new hole, but even though they've jumped my holes before, I don't play that

Anyway, there's still choke bottles out there - go get um!

Hawaiiandigger, Yah I know R.K. back is not good, I told him I off on Saturday and he the one like go dig at the place you guys went the last time, in fact last week he went by himself but ended up not digging cause had some guys fishing he told me...I know his heart is there but the back not, I going talk to him to see what's up, I was thinking of Waipahu by the pump house area, even thinking of walking in the river to see if get bottles, I don't think anyone tried that yet...Tom said he went there last week and dug by the cars, he found some blank bimals and one Waipahu abm soda...call you bumby...

Sodetraveler, No I have not been to Waipahu since the bad accident, so I kinda in the blind, I did talk to one of the bottle club guys who been there last week, I was thinking of joining him maybe Saturday since I'm off, I was thinking of maybe walking in the water to see if get bottles, I remember long time ago I dug right along the shoreline of the river and hit some soda bottles, who know maybe might get lucky, I know that place is dug up but still get pockets of bottles but gotta go down deep...

    Aloha...808kaz
