1920's State Farm lic. Plate topper

Came across this 1920's State Farm lic. Plate topper today while metal detecting. Nice find for myself if I'd say so. Also found almost $3 in clad including a $1 Sacajawea coin.

How big is that thing? I do not believe this is a license plate topper. Back in the day you mounted a placard like this to your door or fence post or something else on your property.

Notice the tab on the bottom with the hole in it. The one you found has 2 screw holes. 1 on each side.
