Well I got the trade token that I found while hunting with xGregx cleaned and am now able to read the name of the establishment from which it came.
Front says "Good for 2 1/2 cents in Trade"
The back says "Hagedorn's Buffet 125 W. Washington St. So. Bend, IND."
I did a Google of the address and it is now a paved parking lot. I would like to ask if anyone knows about it or may have a photo from a South Bend history book. Any help would be much appreciated.
I'm sure the token may not be a high dollar one, but I like to know the history of the things that I dig.

Ps. Here's a couple of scans of the token after I cleaned it.
why not send a pic of the token with the above explanation to the Northern Indiana Center For History OR call the downtown library and ask for the local history section.
I've found answers from both sources plus they're very helpful.

That might just do. Don't know much about South Bend anymore. Will give those above a shot.

Well, here is the reply from the Archivist from the Northern ndiana Center for History
"Your best chance is to consult the directories to see the listing and then
the range of years."
Didn't appear to be much help. Guess that being it is not a great historical piece he didn't want to waste his time.
