    Found first Indian head!

Hit some harder-to-recover-your-target spots in a couple parks yesterday morning, til it got to hot. Paid off, got first Indian-head-penny! ....and a couple wheats.

Ouch!!!! That hurt and it's a deep wound at that.

Rye, that is one sweet Injun. remember that sound and the number it came in at. You'll probably clean-up on the zincs now, but if you don't dig those, you'll miss the indians.

I always heard that the indians would look like zinc's, xx-37, but this one read a non-varying/solid 12-40 on my machine. It was about 4 or 5 inches deep, in really hard dirt, surrounded by 3 iron signals within 8". The morning went from hot/miserable/non-productive to fantastic, when it fell outa the bottom of the plug and I caught a glimpse of the head-dress.
