    What a day..............

    ..........off that is.

Got out Wednesday for a litle dirt diggin' action at the lot where I found my 1864 Indian Head the other week. This place is trashy from the word go. Nails everywhere, bits and pieces of rusty junque, and aluminum scrap from pop cans and probably remnants of the mobile home that once sat there. I think I pulled 1 penny for the first 1 1/2 hours and then finally got a good nickle sound, but the VDI was bouncing just a bit, but was still in the nickle range so I plunged the shovel in to make the plug. Found the nickel with the pinpointer and was quite happy to see the "V" staring at me. This place is older than I realized, but is going to be slow going due to the amount of trash that is there.

    Thanks for looking and HH
