I will post some of my Indiana finds, past and present here. So as to not clutter the forum with multiple threads.

I found these Union Civil War buttons in fields where houses were in the 1870's but long since tore down.

I found these two Tootsie Toy vehicles ten miles apart. I had never found one before then find two in a week and of the same color. I have found plenty of Hot Wheels and other makes of toy cars just not the Tootsies.

This is your lucky day token found at a local park. It is about the size of a quarter and looks like bronze. It seemed so appropriate for a treasure hunter. Maybe I should start carrying it when hunting?

Standing Liberty Quarters are always a treat to find. This one was found in a front yard of an older home. Probably built around 1900.

I hunt mostly Howard, Tipton and Cass Counties. Usually on private property when I can get permission. I am not a very outgoing person so that tends to be a problem.

Tootsie cars are cool, I had never heard of them before digging mine. I think at least my roadster was made in the 40's and the truck in the 60's. They could have lead based paint so beware around children.

This Good Luck Pocket Coin is Copyright 1908 and was found in a little park in Tipton County several years ago. For some reason parks seem to attract tokens of all sorts. This one is the size of a 50 cent piece.

This well worn 1920 Walking Half was found at an old house next to the driveway several years ago. I have found less than a dozen half dollars in the years I have detected. They are a lot harder to lose I guess.

This well worn V nickle was found in an old farm yard. This one is in better condition than what I usually find. Most I find are almost worn smooth either from use or from design they just don't wear well.

Found this Indian today. It looks like it was pretty new when lost. Shows very little wear. The ground sure has not done it any good . I think I'll try cleaning the back up some.

I hate digging zincolns as much as pulltabs. The pulltabs come out in much better shape. The US Mint should be ashamed. I have had to throw away dozens in much worse shape than these.

A couple odd coins found in my change. A dime with thick rolled looking rim and a zinc penny about the size of a nickle.
