Nice. At least you knew it was a ring. First one I got was a 14k white gold and for the love of me I couldn't figure it was a ring for quite a few minutes.
Rang up as a 50 so I knew it had potential to be gold. I couldnt believe it when i popped the plug. I usually get frustarted with low tones and start skipping them. Anyone else do that?
I dig most everything. I've always had my machines with minimal iron discrimination, so I'm pretty sure I haven't missed any. Lowest reading on the Deus for gold was a 42. Was a nice ladies' ring with a garnet about 8" down.
Nice find. Unfortunately to find those gold rings, you'll need to dig those mid tones. Depending on the karat of the gold, a lot of them ring up in the pull tab range. I have found several rings by digging what I thought was another pull tab. Just the nature of this great hobby.
