"Wealthy Old Miser Dead
Leitchfield, KY., Feb 7 -- James Bradshaw, an eccentric miser, aged about 70 years, died in the suburbs of Leitchfield last week of pneumonia. Bradshaw lived for years in a miserable cabin little better than a hovel, in the suburbs of town. He owned valuable timber and farming land, comprising about 250 acres, besides money loaned out and secured by mortgages. his wife had the barest necessities of life, although Bradshaw had simple means to live in luxury."
