Re: Louisiana Finds
Thanks for sharing, Dugit!
The buckle with the green stones & the silver filigree pieces are my favorites but all the CW pieces are amazing too!
I cant identify all the coins/buttons/badges cos the picture isnt overly clear
but they're awesome, the ones I can see!
Is your first picture of Caddoan pottery?? I'd love to hear some history of what all your pieces are & what they pertain to.
By the way, I'm Digz
I'm also in the NW part of the State & just started MDing. I'm about 50 mi south of Shreveport/Bossier. Gotta admit, I've been lurking on this board for a while, just learning & reading a lot of old posts. My first love is Indian artifacts, and I guess finding old relics while looking for arrowheads got me to thinking about what else is down there...so here I am, learning how to do it.
Just wanted to say hi and thanks for the pics - those are some awesome finds! I'll try to post a picture of my very best finds...you know, the rusty nail & the deteriorated soup can lid...
