I decided I would go out and try a new area for me today. This place use to be a little town but the only thing left are a couple church structure and the bases of some houses. The town had been washed away by a hurricane several years ago. I had a lot of targets but came up short on all of them but one. I found a small green plate (tea cup plate I think) and a small bottle. I would love to go back sometime with someone that has a little more knowledge then I do to pick up a few pointers some day. If anyone could help me identify the two objects I would appreciate it.

That plate has great color. Can you estimate the age?

Thanks guys. I'm clueless as to the age since there are no markings. I'm thinking I may have to go back to the same spot and search around some more.

Kojack, I am always looking for places to go if you would like some company. I do not have many places to go but I would not mind sharing the places I do have. The plate looks like a tea plate(saucer). The bottle, I cannot see if that is a cork with plastic cap or screw on top. Looks like a screw on and it that is the case like doverturtle says it is probably form the 50's or 60's. Great shape though
