Greetings all! I'm new to the metal detecting scene and have been enjoying every second of it. I've been finding some items at my parents place that I could use some help identifying if at all possible. They live in Frederick, MD on a 20 acre plot of land that has been lived on since the mid 1700's. Been finding a lot of horse shoes so far. Here are a couple things I've found that I have been unable to identify.

And some of the horse shoes found as well as an old gate that was buried about a foot and a half down in the ground. 2.jpg 4.jpg

Welcome aboard from a fellow Marylander. Nice finds there. That must have been a ton of digging to get that gate out of the ground! Not sure what your unidentified items are. You might try posting them in the "What Is It?" forum, where it will get more views.
