    Front yard hunt, nice surprise

Spent an hour in a new front yard that I got the ok to hunt today. Wow, got tired of digging wheats, almost like someone flung a handfull into the yard, 30's and 40's.
Wasn't ready for the quarter, hit at about 2 inches deep.
I think that maybe dirt was removed from this yard, as no new coins were dug and the wheats averaged 3" deep.
Mr Franklin was found today also, paid 50 cents for him at my bank.

Way to dig em Duane! Very nice quarter! Your bank does treat you well. Keep up the good work & keep getting permission! Glad you didn't have to dig too deep for those little treasures!

Great nab Duane. Those yards are a blast. Ya never know what may pop up. Congrats on your first dug Barber. Bypass the dimes and go right to the quarter. Enjoy it because they don't pop outta the ground often enough. My rule of thumb when at an old yard. Dig everything repeatable no matter the depth. Sometimes the coins are only a few inches down like you found out today. Not like parks and other places where most have taken all the goodies out over the years. Congrats to ya Duane and keep hitting those yards. Jim
