Found the 1942 merc sunday before last, then went on to a 6 hunt silver slump, oh well, but theweather has been rather nice. Yesterday I found the 62' canadian and 52' rosie, today a 45' merc.Today was an especially nice day in the park, although the gnats were a bit bothersome.
Thanks all, always a thrill to see that silver pop out of the ground. Hoping to snag 42 more by July 12th,tho I'd be suprised and happy to get half that many.
No those were only gnats, no big deal compared to black flies or mosquitoes, but they kept dive bombing my face andlanding on my glasses, a bit distracting it was, after more than 3 hours of that I called it quits for the day.Haven't seen any black flies in this park, and the mosquitoes are not too bad, but have hunted spots where all of a suddenI'll look down and see a cluster of about a dozen black flies on my sock, happily chowing on my ankle.
