I didn't get out to detect yesterday, but I found these when I was taking a break from yard work:

That's a QUARTER in the pic for size comparison!

They were pretty yummy but I had to share with my daughter the morel junkie but we had enough to both enjoy.

Around me the weather's been weird for shrooms with the colder nights. The tan morels are in full swing and they usually are about done by now with mother's day weekend being the best time for them. I imagine it's pretty good hunting up around Mesick right now.

That is a true treasure...we hunted some up in the hills and had a wonderful supper of them! WTG
