scored a nice chain along with some wheaties and relics. I'm not sure how old the chain is, I'm pretty sure its gold, even though its not marked. Hoping it is old enough not to have one, except it does have BOB. I posted a drawing from 1874 of the property, the red X is where I found it at about 4 inches. Also not sure what the small badge looking thingy is. thanks for looking all, Griff

Spectacular pics G! Wow, lots of old artifacts there. I would have to say that jewelry is gold, not plated. Like those old cars too, any markings? ffd

Awesome bunch of finds Griff  I'd say it's probably gold, at least it sure does look like it, usually filled or plated gold will leave telltale signs.

not sure but the blue car says made in England on the bottom. the chain turns out to be a pocket watch chain.

Nice nabs. Whenever you are out this way bring that chain and I'll test it for ya. Looks cool. Did ya get to hit the front yard at all? Gotta be some indian heads there. Take Duane there with his explorer and let him show you how that thing loves indian heads. :tongue3: Nice stuff.

yeah I'll bring it by sometime, and yes I have hit the front yard and couldnt find any coins older than the 20's, but did pull a silver quarter, half and a 34 train token plus some ealry wheats. I am scared of Duane and his explorer though. heres a pic of the house I took a few weeks ago, its amazing how accurate those drawings are, I made a copy for the owner, they were very excited and had been just talking about trying to find one. you shoulda made a million off that ;D

Got to hand it to PG; he gets those cool finds including gold and relics that I would most likely walk right over, due to my destructive habit of "cherry picken". ffd
