500 wheats for the year, 1 Merc, 2 silver Rosies today/ 53' Rosie yesterday

Hello SE Michigan here.

Found 9 wheats today which gives me 500 even- for the year. First coin of theday was a 63' Rosie, which is a great way to start a hunt. Spent about three hours hunting a 20ft by 20ft spot in the park, found 35 coins in allincluding 2 King George the 6ths Canadian pennies. Was a good huntand perfect weather.

That's a lot of time in a small area. Is this your normal approach or did it have something to do with your first find - that 63 rosie? Were you digging every little blip or just getting a lot of stronger signals?

Thanks all, I certainly don't find silver every hunt, but it is a rare hunt when I don't find a wheator two.

drgest- hello- I tend to swing slow and overlap a lot, the trashier the area the slower I go.
