I found this in a wooded area next to a park. This was about 6" deep and as I scratched my head picked it up and walked on, I found what looked as a half of concrete base for a headstone. I am not sure if this was an old cemetery or the results of Vandals. I plan on doing some research and see if I can't get this wonderful honored plaque back where it belongs. There is a rather large cemetery down the street so I plan on starting there. Does anyone know if there is a registry on these things being issued?

Thanks,
MM
