Had a break in the rain so I went to an elementary school playground & got a few goodies.

I found a large coin which was like a metallic olive drab color when it came from the ground. At first I thought it would be a brass token. When I cleaned it up, it cleaned up silver and turned out to be a $5 Coin from Liberia...

...and the reverse (I think) turned out to be a Gettysburg commemorative coin with Generals Meade and Lee on it.

Searched the net and found that an identical uncirculated coin sold on EBay for $5.95. Oh well, it's still another first for me and worth braving the cold for it.

Thanks for peeking
