A couple of Worlds Fair relics.

Over the years I have found these two Worlds Fair relics. If anyone else has some post them here. The picture on the suspender buckle is the main building at the 1876 Philly Worlds Fair. Thanks for looking.

I found the suspender buckle in a yard an inch and a half deep. The coin purse I found in the river and is missing the plate on the other side. I have detected numerous time for the other side, but no luck yet. I think it must of been worn out and they tossed it in the river. It wasn't until the teens or twenties that they stopped throwing their garbage in the river. After the logging days were over and garbage pick up started they found a good use for the river "fishing". Thanks for the comments cntrydncr1 and postalgriff.

Cool relics MW. It must have been kind of cool to wear "designer" suspender buckles back then. I can only think of one or two (older) people I know now that even wear suspenders.

    Very nice relics!
OK! After looking through thousands of pics, I finally found it!
My best worlds fair item is a brass ring from the 1934 Chicago Worlds Fair. I found it in neck deep water!
