    First Buffalo !

    It was an old nickel day at the old school. Dug my first Buffalo, 1928...Then just missed another one by 1 year. Yes, a 1939...the first year of Jefferson nickels. Also dug a '46...these were all within a couple of feet of each other. And, of course some clad...(not pictured)

    congrats on your first buff! it still has that nickel color to it too....all the ones I've dug are brown or red. HH
