last couple of short hunts here in Jackson. I dug the boy scout whistle at Craig's place. most everything else came from a park and a city lot where they just demolished a house. the trade token was toasted with heavy corrosion, and I put some toilet bowl cleaner on it just to see if something would show up. (I don't recommend this technique). couple of junk rings, 1966 dog license, and a very neat birth record silver spoon. 3 wheats (26,42,56) a 52, canadian, and a 1944 coin from Cyprus.

yeah 12:14 or 1 :14 not sure. I tried to see if there was a way to search for someone by their DOB, no luck yet. would be cool to get that back to him just before his 50th birthday.

Cool spoon J, lots of neat finds....and what is that thing on the upper right, is that a "victorian-era" bottle opener?
Sorry about beating you to the Cooper house, yard was fulla junk I agree, you should have seen that place 15 years ago, really run down. I'm sure that over the last 40 years others have hunted that one too. Tear it up out there, good stuff is coming.....ffd

Cool finds. Haven't been out yet this year. Is it easy digging? I would think it would be impossible to get down more than 2-3 inches...when compared to years past. Probably because of the mild winter.

Anyway, I found the exact same button 2 years ago i think...

Here is the pic next to a penny.
