    4/5/10 ballfield hunt

    Cranked up the detector to try and squeak a couple more coins from the ballfield. There's nothing left here at average depth. Scored a couple keepers, but golly they are at 9-10", glad the digging is easy, soft black soil.
    Found a couple silver keepers looking through some "change" while waiting for my dentist appointment earlier today, merc #6 for the year from a roll.
    Love this time of year, no skeeters yet, not too warm. Good luck out there everyone!

    killer finds D!! another 1892 barber!! very nice that buff looks to be in great shape...let's see the back. congrats on squeaking a couple more keepers outta the honey hole!
