Brief tot lot hunt - June 28

I had to kill time today waiting for a YMCA tennis lesson so I took the younger set over to a park. I was expecting the park to be busy since it was already 11 a.m. To my surprise, nobody was there. I had one strong pull-tab signal that I thought was going to be trash and was pumped to pull out a men's tungsten carbide ring. The brand name is "Artcarved" and Amazon retails a similar ring for $50. Not bad for 40 min. of swinging! Also found what I think might be Thor's hammer.

    HH and thanks for looking,

    SWEET! Congrats Anne!!!
I found my first one last year and I like them. Nice looking, and very heavy.

Cool ring Anne! If I ever find another ring, I'll have to check in with you experts out there, on how you determine metals. Keep on diggin' girl.

    Great looking ring, Congrats!

Except for a 57' Rosie ( found in the soil under the sand) I never find anything in the tot lots. In the grass surrounding the tot lots I've found wheats and silver, and a couple of silver rings. I wonder if some people just huntin the sand and ignore the grass.

    Good luck,
    HH.
