I made these finds on July 2nd from a park and road tearout



Here's a before and after shot of the merc. It was just a ball of tar when I first dug it and I chunked of some of the tar to be able to see the date. It read a little low compared to most silver dime's and I think it was probably the tar cause I think tar might have some cinder in it but I'm not sure.





here's a neat button I dug out of the road. After I used electrolysis on it I was cleaning it and they loop broke off so I soldered it back on, it too was a ball of tar. I first cut the tar with lighter fluid followed by the electrolysis.

Here's a couple wheats I dug at a park July 3rd morning, I was mainly just digging deep targets in a spot I've hammered for years. They were stuck together and about 9 inches down and read like a silver dime on my V3i.
