My eldest daughter has been trying to save up money for something or other, so I suggested she hit a few tot lots with me. :icon_pirat: Late Friday afternoon we hit a local school and she cleared $1.02. Not bad for a beginner. Today we hit another spot and she found a bit less but did find a neat foreign coin. She dug a Ukrainian 50 kopiyok coin. I think she's surprised how easy it is.

She's using my old Ace 250. An easy machine for a beginner to learn and very light weight. Garrett is making an Ace 350 now as well.

I would say, depending on soil condition, it can reach 6". Garrett has put a DD coil on its new Ace 350 and I'm looking forward to reviews of it. Check out the Garrett page on TNet as those folks can give you some advice.
