Long day dirtfishin' - day off

Went out knocking on several doors today, nobody home except the dogs. So i went to a house I had gained permission at a week before, 1869 farm. I wasn't too enthusiastic, the yard just looked too "puffy".
Lots of iron and stuff, but I did get the lipstick tube and Barber there.
I also hit my favorite ballfield that was freshly plowed a month ago, and dug six older wheaties.
Last but not least visited another ballfield and dug a merc and 2 more rings.
Weather was nice and once again, the lawn did not get mowed at my house.

Congrats to ya Mr D. Nice nab on the Barber dime. I like finding the old lipsticks too. I like to open them up and if its red, I put it on and prance around the house.....wait I wasn't supposed to tell you that. They are kinda cool to find though. Keep hitting those old homes.
I have to work this Saturday 8 hours. I know I said no more revisits for me but a guy up the road stopped by after reading that article Saturday and offered to let me detect his yard again. Its the home where I found the confederate button at and a lot of other goodies. I may just hit it Saturday evening or Sunday if I can. I hit it hard but ya never know.
