Hit an old home today after work with the newbie....

Got me a large cent. YES!! I love those things. This one needs some more baths but has great detail on her. Also nabbed a nice 1889 Indian plus gave up a real nice 1864 to the newbie. He was real excited because it was his first 1800s coin. I really like the tiger looking thingy and the chinese ring that is gold plated.
We were only there an hour and we have permission for a return visit. Cool!! First target I dug there was the large cent down around 6 inches. Fun Stuff.
I also found stuff on Halloween with Fistfullofsilver and Padlock. I had a migraine Sunday and yesterday so just didn't feel like posting. I got skunked out at Hillsdale Fairgrounds and I even went back for an extra hour after the other guys went home. Nothing!! I did get a 1911 V nickel and a crusty 18-- something Indian though at the other park. It was fun to meet Padlock. Good guy. Here be the pics from today.
