Found a new place to detect
Just before Thanksgiving we got an accepted offer on a huge Victorian house built in 1886. should be closing and moving sometime around Christmas. It has 7 bedrooms and 8 full bathrooms! We need every inch of it too. It was a foreclosure that we got a steal on and sits on a 1.25 acre lot in a nice small town. Anyway I've been too busy to do any detecting but I've enjoyed seeing all of your posts. I did just have a birthday and recieved some nice coins and local tokens from my wife, brother, and sweet mamma. Also, my wife printed me up a nice voucher for one full day of metal detecting. Life is good.

Congrats on the cool old home. Hope ya find some hidden treasures in the walls at that place.
You should ask if you could break that 18 hour 1 day of hunting into 6 three hour days. That would work out better for ya. 37 your a pup. I got 11 years on ya.
Ya never know until ya go.

That is one heck of a Birthday present! That house is awesome bro and is hopefully holding some great treasure. Great pictures of some sweet coins for your collection too.
Hopefully, you will have a chance to do some detecting before spring. Otherwise, it will be a long winter

Wow, that is one sweet looking house, J. Glad it is going to work out for you. Nice birthday gifts, too. Let us know when you hunt that yard.

Do you get one of these a year, or is this it for life?

Sweet looking house! Your gonnna have tons of time to detect just out your door. I still dig up coins everytime I detect my yard, and my house was built in the 60's. I must have holes in my pockets, no wonder I can't get ahead.
