Found jeweled Treasure this morning

Got a shot (photo) of this ringneck in my yard today, first time my daughter has ever seen one.
This rooster really brightened up the drab surroundings!

Seen a couple hens hanging around the other day Ivan, I might set up a deer feeder like I did a couple years ago, brought in deer and turkey to within petting distance of the house.

well if you got a rooster and a few hens -- if you put out a food source to help them last out over the winter -- theres a good chance you might get more of em come spring -- bet the deer and turkey would not mind a bit of corn either during the winter things get tough on wild animals in snowy areas , as food is scarce

He is an awesome site! You just don't see them like you used to. Plenty of Turkeys and there used to be almost none of them here.

It's sad....and if the govt has it's way you will soon have to give up your backyard veggie garden. WAY too much regulation. Yeah, the deer are dropping like flies around here, thanks to bovine tuberculosis...........
