Found my first 2 silver of 2011

Of course, everyone in Michigan has seen more than enough snow this year. All of the snow probably produced my 1st sliver this year. I found a nice and heavy 925 silver bracelet in a parking lot. Probably lost, scraping ice/ snow off of her car window. About time Jack Frost was good for a treasure hunter! The 2nd silver came later on in the week. I have been trying for a long time to find bank that would sell me rolled .50 pieces. I have seen stories of roll hunting but when I ask the tellers if I can buy some they just tell me they do not have any. My wife asked a bank earlier in the day and they told her they were out. I went back later, not knowing she was already there and a teller said she would check the vault. She came back with 2 rolls, $20.00 and said that was all she could do today. I had one roll of Bicentennials which was kind of cool and the other was a complete mix that included one

* Composition:

Outer layers: 80% silver, 20% copper
Inner layers: 20.9% silver, 79.1% copper

* Silver content: 4.60 g (0.1479 troy oz)

It seems like forever since I could go detect so, that was a lot of excitement to find silver with 8+ inches of snow outside. Lets hope for some HOT sun and a lot of it. Thanks everyone!
