recent diggins
well nothing spectacular, but always have fun playin in the dirt. These finds came from either my yard or a dump site I found in a remote part of a county park. (dog tag trifecta?) The old 1900 dog tag I dug in my yard down about a foot, and is fused with a 1904 on the opposite side. I love digging half dollars even if they are clad, I always think its better than diggin 50 zincolns! Got 7 wheats, the oldest being a 1913. fancy plated spoon, and a button that says 'militaires equipment' on it. What a great hobby we have, HH all, Griff

Look how proud you are of your finds, laying them out so nice and neat. The dog tags are very cool. There is some good moola there if ya want to sell em. Congrats on some cool finds. You cleaning out the easy targets outta your yard yet? If I had a old home like that I would be diggin everything that beeped until it was all gone. Is that what your going to do?
Ya never know until ya go.

thanks Jim, yeah unfortunately all the decent targets are gone, but several very large areas that are iron blankets, up close to the house and a couple of areas in the back where other buildings were. I do intend on trying to clean it out eventually but will take years I'm sure. (1.25 acres) I did commission my twin girls each armed with a pro-pointer to recover as many nails or surface junk as they can at a nickel a piece. Feel free to come over and give it a try anytime.

Excellent bunch of digs there bro!! Love the dog tags and knight. I'm sure your gonna find more goodies in that yard. Have you got under the porch yet? I agree, a fifty cent piece is definitely better than fifty zincolns Congrats on a bunch of nice relics and Wheaties too.

Yes, you need to get me over there Josh, I will tear up the finds hee-hee
Man you are the king of relics! I never dig any cool ones like those, my ears are always focused on one thing, so I miss out on a lot. Big congrats on all those finds, you're going to need a bigger display case soon. D

Nice pile of finds, J. You always finds the coolest relics. Too funny about hiring your kids.....my younger kids love my Propointer, too.
