Back to the farm field for the 4th time...3 silver coins

Hey all,

Went back to the farm field for the 4th time this year on March 22. Unfortunately that storm that night made my computer screen all jacked up due to a "brownout."

So sorry its been awhile since I posted this.

Anyway, if you remember I got a 51 Rosie out there the 1st hunt. The 2nd & 3rd hunts were on March 17th/18th. I got a 44 merc, 4 Indianheads, and a few wheats. Some of you wanted to see pics...only ones worth posting are the 44 Merc and the 1892 Indian. I've included them below along with finds from my most recent hunt.

So anyway...I went out there again on March 22. The last few hunts I'm starting to search more methodically...going in patterns down the rows...back and forth.

My first good find was a 1942 Silver War Nickel.

Then I found a 1954 Roosevelt Dime and then a 1941 Mercury Dime.

I couldn't believe it. I've been searching this field for at least 4 years if not 5. Of course I usually only go out there twice a year...but I have never found silver before this year. All of a sudden I've found 5 silver coins out there this year.

I also go another token and a 1951D Wheat Penny.

Congrats on the great finds!

This year I've found one merc and a trunkload of iron in a new field I got permission to detect before the crops go in this year. This gives me hope, lol.
