My rainy day finds

Hunted a wooded cellar hole up in da thumb today. Kind of wet out but warm enough to make it bearable. Finding a few goodies helped too.

A couple old coins....a survey/mappers tag....a previously gold plated band..

The coins were all in decent shape...

The tag has E. Hem. on front (Eastern Hemisphere)??


Also found a couple scary creatures....(raccoon and muskrat)

Only bad thing about the hunt.....putting gas in the tank.

Looks like you did well with some nice old coin finds. I remember when I was in grade school, I found a bleached raccoon skull, I painted it and wore it like a necklace for a day. The girls loved it. Crazy kids......

Nice group of oldies. Canadian large cent, Indian head and some silver. Nice variety.

Found two dead raccoons a couple weeks back, think the poor things frozeto death
