    4-23-11 diggins

Secured permission on an old homestead a couple miles from my place that I have had my eye on for a while. My wife and I both were swinging on this place. Dug my first Franklin Half (1950) Other keepers include 1892 IH, 39 Merc, 46 Rosie, 1953 - 20 CENTIMES BELGIQUE coin, 9 Wheats (16S, 26D, 39, 40S, 46D, 48S, 50S, 50, 52). Thimble has Austria inscribed on it. Another Tootsie car for the collection and a lipstick tube.
Big fun! Thanks for looking and Happy Easter

Thanks D! Not positive if it was a virgin yard but it was definitely productive! Guy is trying to sell the house and 29 acres for $750K. Been empty a few years and needs a bunch of work but it is on a main street.

Excellent digs, Brent! Congrats on all the great coins including your first Franklin. Neat foreign coin. Love the thimble....on my wish list to find a better one. Did your wife find anything good? Glad you guys are getting out.
