Secured permission on an old homestead a couple miles from my place that I have had my eye on for a while. My wife and I both were swinging on this place. Dug my first Franklin Half (1950) Other keepers include 1892 IH, 39 Merc, 46 Rosie, 1953 - 20 CENTIMES BELGIQUE coin, 9 Wheats (16S, 26D, 39, 40S, 46D, 48S, 50S, 50, 52). Thimble has Austria inscribed on it. Another Tootsie car for the collection and a lipstick tube.

Thanks D! Not positive if it was a virgin yard but it was definitely productive! Guy is trying to sell the house and 29 acres for $750K. Been empty a few years and needs a bunch of work but it is on a main street.

DUDE!!!...Awesome Franklin half! You and Mike both pulled a sweet coin on the same day! Great hunt bro!, congrats on the big silver and small silver too! plus an Indian and bunch of wheats! Excellent digs, Brent! Congrats on all the great coins including your first Franklin. Neat foreign coin. Love the thimble....on my wish list to find a better one. Did your wife find anything good? Glad you guys are getting out.
