    Looking for NE Michigan sites

While I live in Toledo, I have a cabin between Grayling and MIO and am up there quite a bit from April through October. Does anyone know of any public areas to hunt in this region. I've hit the usual campgrounds, fairgrounds etc,. but nothing but clad. Need something which might be a little dated.

Thanks in advance. I'll trade any good leads for a few hours fly fishing for trout.

Best I can say is all them old farms are likely virgin sites. Keep an eye out for street and sidewalk construction, and any other old spot that is dug up. Hope you find some good ones.
    Now let's go fishing!

I live near there and you need to be creative....took me about 2 years to figure it out now I don't have enough time for the amount of spots, and I have hunted for 11 hours straight at times. Hint you can go fishing for more than trout in the river...how many canoes get flipped over? how many loggers have been there back in the day?
