wow...nice!....was just thinking about giving that a shot...have never searched for them but the wife loves them, and she would be a lot more excited if I came home with those instead of some indian head pennies
I hate you...truly hate you. The only mushrooms I have found so far have been with a can opener. My mouth literally started to water when I saw these, congrats you lucky so n' so.
Oh man, golden goodness! I found my first patch almost 35 years ago. Keep my eyes open now every spring. Found one so far this year, I'm jealous, congrats!

Nice bunch of shrooms...found about 5 big yellows done here yesterday. They were starting to get buggy. Getting close to being the end of the season.
The blacks & greys are about done. We will move to a different place tomorrow to look for whites & yellows. We have picked almost 1600 so far this year. Our best year was 2003 when we picked 6000+. Got the freezer banked back up to about 10 pounds.
Set your goals High, but your discrimination Low to achieve your desired success.
Its been a strange year down here in SE MI. Normal spots not finding any, out in the open finding them (a few anyway). I am sure they are still out there but the greenery is getting about 6" in the woods. Makes them hard to spot. Send me a note next season, I'll help you haul them out .
