    1864

    Got out Saturday to a repeat yard where I found a Silver ring, and 1916 Wheat. Found a new yard today and dug a 1864 2 Cent coin , 2 Indians (1901, 1906), 1947 Rosie and 7 Wheats (1911, 19, 41, 44, 45, 46, 50). Big fun! HH

The object touching the base of the keys is a screw top to a rubber hot water bottle. Today, heating pads and electric blankets have almost totally replaced the rubber hot water bottle that were used 'back in the day'.

Beauty of a 2-center, Brent! Sweet IH, ring and wheats, too.

I believe jopher is right on the musical instrument reeds.
