pulled a lil color out of the lake....... lol very little.

Hi everyone, I ran into craigv3 at a local lake a few days ago. Its was cool to meet another tneter. He landed a pretty cool stainless ring. Not sure what else he hit. I ended with a old 925 ring, a toe ring, a kids bubble gum ring and a 34 wheat. I also pulled a little color. Very little. lol. I found an 14k ear ring. had a blast! I thought water hunting would be an easy transition from the dirt. lol I was wrong again. Thanks for the tips mike. I put em to good use!

I know Craig, great guy, agressive detectorist, and those are nice jewelry finds. Have you tried electrolysis? ffd

Yeah, seemed like a pretty cool guy. I used electrolysis on a badge once but never with jewelry. I just used toothpaste. I also have what I think is an old store sign or free mason sign that I found under the sidewalk. I am going to try electrocuting that. Got an old car battery charger for this one. Hope it turns out to be something cool.
