Took my daughter detecting today!........

We had a raffle at our club for a slightly used Ace 250 with extra coil. My daughter Grace was hoping I could win it for her. Well a good friend won it and that evening he gave it to Grace and said Happy Birthday! So needless to say she has been chomping at the bit to go find treasure!
We hit two chip bark tot lots today. She was very excited to find her first piece of jewelry. A neat little butterfly pendant. Grace got 30 cents and some misc, I got $1.17 amd plenty more misc. Interesting we both found a 123 barrett in different spots. Not what I like to detect, but sure was a memorable hunt.

Look at the expression on her little face, she is so proud of herself and she has every right to be, that is a darling little pendant, she will remember this day always, as will you, and though it isn't where you usually hunt, it's the time spent with her, that is most important!
