Christmas day, on the city ballfield
My family and I spent a nice Christmas morning together, and then I stepped out, with the excuse to go buy a newspaper...I returned 3 hours later, muddy and grinning from ear to ear.
Forgot the newspaper, but I did manage to unearth 28 wheaties (1910 on up), a couple silver, and a few backfilled pieces of junk, from a ballfield on the skirts of Jacktown.
Hope you all had a nice Christmas. HH, ffd

Congrats, D, on a nice pile of wheats and silver! Isn't this mild weather a gift? Glad you're still getting out.

Re: Christmas day, on the city ballfield
Nice, very nice indeed. I really need to take advantage of this weather, but due to the holidays and family visiting I have not been able to sneak out. Maybe today I can get away. I really need to do some checking on a location where I think I have found an old foundation-I'm really excited about this-just need to find out who owns the property.
Those wheatbacks sure cleaned up well! Great job.
