    Last two hunts of 2011....Gold and Copper ring?? And some 2011 year totals.

    Has anybody seen one like this? I am assuming that it is 14k(does not seem to be plated that I can see) gold with a band of copper around the outside. It was about 5 inches down and had been there for a while. If you have any info or a pic of what it looked like when new I would love to hear from you.

    I also found a few silver to finish the year 8).

    Got an E-trac in June and found 107 silver coins for the year. Ten silver rings and if the one in this post is 14k then I got three gold rings. Ten indians and 480+ wheats for 2011. I will be happy to get a third of that number neaxt year. Been a great year for me compared to others.

    Nice digs! I believe that is a makers mark from the UK? Never seen one wrapped in copper. most likely if it is older and I think it is, ten it is likely plated. Can't wait to see it in two weeks. You had a great year my friend.
